J. Cardoso will join Atletico

Atletico Madrid has reached an agreement for the acquisition of Johnny Cardoso.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the club from the Spanish capital will pay €30 million in a buyout for the 23-year-old American from Real Betis.

The player himself has already agreed to a five-year contract with Atletico.

In the last season, the midfielder scored four goals in 46 matches.
