The Madrid club's striker Julian Alvarez commented on the victory with a score of 2:0 against the Barcelona team and his goal:

"I have seen L. Messi's goal at the Camp Nou stadium against Liverpool a few times, but I wasn't sure if the ball went into the same corner of the net."

"Yesterday we practiced penalties and I didn't convert any. I succeeded in this match, and that's the most important thing."

Julian Alvarez led the "mattresses" forward in the 45th minute by converting a penalty.
