Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez commented on the rumors regarding Barcelona and PSG:

"Am I considering playing for Barcelona or Paris in the future? I really don’t know.

I see what is being written on social networks... In Spain, I am constantly associated with the Catalan team.

When I signed the contract with the 'mattresses', there were also rumors about the PSG team. It is true that there were discussions between the representatives of the Paris team and my agent; they were interested in me, but this transfer did not happen.”
