
Another player from the Miami "Inter" club will retire from professional football after this season.
Defender Jordi Alba announced on social media that he will continue his journey in a different phase of life after the season.
The former "Barcelona" player played for this team from 2012 to 2023 and scored 27 goals in 459 matches.
He also played 93 matches for the Spanish national team, during which he scored 9 goals.
The "Inter" team added J. Alba in 2023, and he made 95 appearances, scoring 14 times.
Throughout his career, the 36-year-old Jordi Alba became a "La Liga" champion 6 times, won the Champions League with "Barcelona," and contested the World Club Cup, as well as winning five "Copa del Rey" trophies.
Midfielder Sergio Busquets will also retire after the season. Both left Barcelona after the same season.
