According to reports from The Athletic, FIFA is actively considering which team could replace Iran in the football fiesta.

With the U.S. failing to reach an agreement with a Central Asian country over a ceasefire in the military conflict, the Iranians may be forced to miss the global championship.

With time relentlessly ticking down to the sports celebration, FIFA is seriously evaluating one option.

If circumstances dictate, FIFA would organize a tournament featuring four teams, with two from Europe and two from Asia.
