The Almaty "Kairat" club continues to rewrite the pages of the Champions League.

A couple of months ago, the Kazakhs broke the record for the longest travel in the tournament by crossing three time zones (6900 kilometers) and arriving in Lisbon.

This time, "Kairat" hosted the Greek club "Olympiacos" in their country, with temperatures dropping to minus 20 degrees Celsius.

Interestingly, the coldest match of all time took place not in Almaty, but in the city of Astana.

The match, which the Greeks won 1:0, was salvaged by the latest technologies – a retractable roof and heated pitch.
