In the postponed 20th round of the "TOPsport" sponsored Lithuanian Football A League matches, the championship leaders "Kauno Žalgiris" faced off against Kaunas district's "Hegelmann". The team managed by Eivinas Černiauskas overcame a goal deficit and took the victory with a score of 2:1 (0:0).

In the first half, both teams created very few sharp moments; however, it is worth noting that after playing just under half an hour, Eduardas Jurjonas found Gratas Sirgėdas in the penalty area, but the latter's shot went wide of the goal.

At the beginning of the second half, goals started pouring in – Leo Ribeiro took a corner kick, after which, during the ensuing confusion, Donatas Kazlauskas sent the ball into the net. Just a couple of minutes later, "Kauno Žalgiris" responded with a precise shot when E. Jurjonas, while falling, assisted Amine Benchaib, who was accurate in his shot towards the far corner of the goal.

In the 67th minute, Temuras Čogadze had a great chance to score, but his shot from a turn went past the rectangle, and in the next attack, Vincentas Šarkauskas saved another strike from the Georgian, but this time Fedoras Černychas sent the rebound into the net.

After the victorious postponed 20th round match in the "TOPsport" sponsored Lithuanian Football A League, "Kauno Žalgiris" distanced themselves from their nearest pursuers "Hegelmann" – they are separated by 6 points, but the green and whites, having 56 points, have played one match less.
