In the second-largest English football division, the "Championship," an important change will take effect next season.
From next season, six clubs will qualify for the playoffs for a ticket to the "Premier" League, so the top 8 places in this division will hold significant importance.
The first two clubs automatically enter the "Premier" League, while the other six will compete in the playoffs. Until this season, including this one, four clubs fought for a ticket.
This year, the clubs realistically contending for the top two spots are "Coventry City," "Middlesbrough," and "Ipswich Town."
From the 26/27 season, the #SkyBetChampionship Play-Offs will be expanded to six teams.
