One of the most well-known Brazilian forwards of recent decades, Hulk, will have to look for a new team or even end his professional career.

It has been officially announced that the Atletico Mineiro team has terminated the contract with the 39-year-old player.

He played at his home club for five years and scored over a hundred goals.

"Hulk is one of the most famous players in the club's history, and we invite everyone to say goodbye to him on May 10 during the celebration at MRV Arena,” the team reports.

"Here I won not just titles – this union changed my life. I felt at home at Atletico Mineiro, and I will be eternally grateful to the team,” said the forward.
