Marijampolė's "Sūduva" has signed another contract with a player remaining in the team. The player is right-back Henry Uzochukwu, with whom a 2-year contract has been established.

Last season, the 27-year-old Nigerian scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists in 30 matches in the Lithuanian Championship. Additionally, the defender played 3 matches in the cup tournament.

H. Uzochukwu arrived at "Sūduva" at the beginning of April 2024.

The footballer moved from his hometown team "Ebedei" to Denmark's "Midtjylland" in 2017 and represented the club's U19 team until mid-2018. Later, the legionnaire was continuously loaned to the "Fredericia" team playing in the 1st league.

In 2021, the current "Sūduva" player moved from Denmark to Finnish Kuopion KuPS, and in the second half of 2023, he represented the US team Phoenix Rising.

With KuPS, the defender won the Finnish Cup in 2021 and 2022, becoming the country’s vice-champion, and played 12 matches in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying rounds (1 goal and 2 assists).

Preparing for the 2026 Lithuanian Football A League season, "Sūduva" has already played three friendly matches, with the fourth test set for February 7 at 12 PM at the Marijampolė Football Arena's indoor pitch against Suwalki "Wigry".
