H. Stoichkov: millionaire players shouldn't complain about the summer tournament

Bulgaria's football legend Hristo Stoichkov is surprised by the players' criticism of the World Club Cup tournament.

According to the 1994 Ballon d'Or winner, millionaires should not make such statements.

"They do not complain when they earn 20 million euros a year.”

Footballers are satisfied playing competitively once a week, without the King's Cup, FA, and Carabao Cup tournaments.

These tournaments have already lost their meaning, even though a year ago they still meant something – it was possible to win a place in European tournaments.

"Now Spain, England, and Italy each have six teams in the Champions League,” explained H. Stoichkov.
