The new Los Angeles FC club midfielder Heung-Min Son praised the great player Lionel Messi in an interview with sports publication ESPN:

"We are fortunate to see L. Messi playing football and to be of the same generation as him, as we can watch the Argentine scoring goals.

The Argentine has personally inspired me with all his achievements with his club and national team, and his participation in the MLS league also influenced my decision."

"I am very fortunate to be playing on the same field with him."

33-year-old Heung-Min Son has been playing for London’s Tottenham since 2015 and has scored 173 goals in 454 matches.
