H-min Son: 'I love the Tottenham club'

Son Heung-min, who played for London’s Tottenham club for a decade, spoke beautifully about his time with the "Spurs" team:

"I arrived in North London as a young child... When I got here, I couldn't speak English at all."

"Leaving this team is the hardest decision I've made in my career. Just incredible memories... I love the Tottenham team."

"I need a new environment to push myself forward. I need a little change. I came to North London at 23 years old, such a young age. I leave this team as a mature man, a man very proud of myself. I gave everything for the Spurs club."

"I want to thank all the fans of this team who gave me so much love and hope. I hope that my farewell happened at the right time, as it is the right time to make this decision."

33-year-old Heung-min Son played for London’s Tottenham club since 2015 and scored 173 goals in 454 matches.

Last season, the South Korean footballer scored 11 times in 46 matches.
