H. Hainer: "D. Upamecano feels very comfortable at Bayern club"

The president of the Munich "Bayern" club Herbert Hainer told the sports publication "Sky SportsDE" that he hopes to extend the contract with the main defender Dayot Upamecano:

"I am optimistic that we will reach an agreement with the Frenchman.

I hear that he is very happy in the Bavarian team. This defender feels very comfortable in the team and he also feels very good with head coach Vincent Kompany."

The 27-year-old Dayot Upamecano has been playing for "Bayern" since 2021 and has scored 5 goals in 167 matches.

This season, the defender has played 15 matches.
