H. Flick ignores the request from Barcelona's management

The leaders of the "Barcelona" team are so satisfied with head coach Hansi Flick's work that they want to keep the German in their ranks for as long as possible.

Mundo Deportivo reports that team president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco met with the coach's agent, Pini Zahavi.

Through his representative, "Barca" tried to convince the specialist to extend his contract until the summer of 2028.

However, H. Flick said "no" and postponed negotiations to the upcoming off-season. According to him, the most important thing right now is the results on the pitch, not negotiations at the table.

The coach's current contract with the Catalans is valid until the summer of 2027.
