Former Real Madrid player Guti commented on Spain national team head coach Luis De La Fuente's statement that Lamine Yamalis can reach the level of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Diego Maradona:

"De La Fuente said that L. Yamalis can reach the level of those three?

D. Maradona won the World Cup in Mexico, even though that team wasn't very strong.

Meanwhile, L. Messi and C. Ronaldo won by scoring 50 goals each.

This will be very hard for anyone to achieve. I see Kylian Mbappe as the player who is closest to being able to replicate such accomplishments.”
