At the end of October, coach Graham Potter, who signed a short-term contract with the Swedish Football Federation, will remain at the helm of the national team for a long time.
It was announced on Thursday that the 50-year-old Englishman has put pen to paper on a new contract that will last until 2030.
Interestingly, the coach had previously been tasked with qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, for which the Swedes still face an additional qualifying tournament, where they will meet Ukraine in the semifinals.
However, it seems that G. Potter's vision convinced the Swedish Football Federation, which preemptively offered the coach a new contract.
