FIFA president Gianni Infantino spoke about two current issues.

The football official was asked if he regretted awarding the Peace Prize to US President Donald Trump earlier.

"We are doing everything to ensure peace prevails in the world,” explained G. Infantino, noting that the US leader has the capacity to resolve conflicts and save lives.

For its part, FIFA is preparing to actively address the issues of racism.

According to G. Infantino, rule amendments are already being prepared to prohibit insulting opponents while covering one’s mouth.

"If you have nothing to hide, then speak openly. It’s all simple,” explained the official, who promised to show red cards for hidden manifestations of racism.
