Former Real Madrid club winger Gareth Bale commented on the dismissal of head coach Xabi Alonso and how to manage players' egos:

You have to be able to manage egos in the locker room. You have to help them, but that doesn't require a lot of tactical things.

You have stars in the team who can change the game in an instant.

I am not surprised by X. Alonso's dismissal. I totally understand how the Real team works, and if there are no results for a long time, then you get fired.
