The Lithuanian national men’s football team will play a friendly match against the Israeli team on Thursday in Kaunas.

The match will be broadcast live by the LRT PLIUS channel and the LRT.lt portal starting at 7 PM.

Before the match, the head coach of the national team, Edgaras Jankauskas, shared his thoughts about the upcoming opponent at a press conference.

"These are important matches, an opportunity to achieve results and showcase ourselves. There will be many fans in front of TV screens; they won't be in the stadium, but that shouldn’t affect our mindset, dedication, desire, and pursuit of victory.

Israel is a very technical team, and their training methodology is very different – children there are encouraged to play against each other, control the ball, and dribble past opponents. I think something similar to this scenario should happen tomorrow,” said the team’s coach.
