The "Flamengo" club has parted ways with its head coach.
The legendary Brazilian team has dismissed former footballer Filipe Luis.
"Flamengo" decided to release him after a victory with a score of 8:0 in the "Carioca" championship.
Last year, "Flamengo" participated in the FIFA Club World Cup and was eliminated in the round of 16.
Filipe Luis has been with this team since 2024.
The former defender also played for "Flamengo" from 2019 to 2023, making 176 appearances and providing 11 assists.
Prior to that, F. Luis played for Madrid's "Atletico," "Deportivo," and London’s "Chelsea" teams.
He is expected to be replaced by former Lisbon "Sporting" and "Monaco" specialist Leonardo Jardim.
