This summer, a radically revamped world club cup tournament held in the USA resulted in an important change in the records of famous teams.

As reported by the Daily Mail, FIFA announced a ban, thus raising the profile of London's Chelsea team.

From now on, only the Premier League team will have the right to call itself the winner of the world club cup tournament – previously such tournaments were renamed to FIFA Intercontinental Champions League.

This means that the CWC title will be stripped from clubs such as Real Madrid, Man Utd, or Man City.

The next world club cup tournament will take place in 2029.
