Heung-min Son played his last match wearing the "Tottenham" jersey. It was not an official match, but a friendly.

In the farewell match, the Korean started and helped secure a draw against "Newcastle" – 1:1.

In the 4th minute, "Tottenham" took the lead with a goal from Brennan Johnson.

In the 38th minute, Harvey Barnes equalized the score.

H. Son was substituted in the 65th minute. He received applause from the entire stadium, spectators stood from their seats, and Mohammed Kudus entered the field in place of the veteran.

Shortly thereafter, James Maddison also entered the field, but he lasted only 11 minutes. The Englishman suffered a knee injury, which later turned out to be the same knee that caused him to miss the end of last season and the Europa League final.

"Tottenham" will play in the UEFA Super Cup final against PSG in 10 days.
