The Slovak national team delivered an unexpected blow to the Belgians in the European Football Championship on Monday and secured a victory with a score of 1:0.

After the victory, Slovak coach Francesco Calzona spared no kind words for his players.

"My players did everything they could, which allowed us to beat such a strong opponent.

Before the match, I told my players that with the right attitude we can compete with any opponent.

This is a huge victory, but now we cannot stop. We need to score goals in the next matches and advance to the next stage," - F. Calzona said after the victory.
