A rare but very unpleasant incident occurred in the Europa League tournament.

In the match between Sevilla's Betis and Utrecht, two players from the Spanish club, Isco and Sofyan Ambarat, suffered injuries after colliding with each other.

At the very beginning of the match, the home team's coach Manuel Pellegrini was forced to make unplanned substitutions, and it now appears that both important players may be out of action for a longer period.

Despite the very painful start, the match was won by the Betis team with a score of 2:1.
