Football fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming World Cup.

At the sports fiesta, spectators can also see several veterans who played in the 2006 World Cup.

First of all, these are two football legends – Lionel Messi (38 years old) and Cristiano Ronaldo (41 years old).

We should also not forget the "iron" Croatian Luka Modrić (40 years old).

Other footballers have almost no chance to appear in the stadiums of the USA, Mexico, or Canada: Guillermo Ochoa (40 years, Mexico), Lukas Podolski (40 years, Germany), Łukasz Fabiański (40 years, Poland), Roque Santa Cruz (44 years, Paraguay), and Vladimir Stojković (42 years, Serbia).

In the market of football players, there are still two players without clubs, and they have not announced their retirement: Oscar Ustari (39 years old) and Sergio Ramos (39 years old).
