Real Madrid defender Eder Militao did not hide that after two anterior cruciate ligament injuries he considered ending his career:

"With another knee injury, there were a lot of things on my mind... including thoughts about retirement.

It’s not easy to fight after all of that, having two anterior cruciate ligament injuries in a short time... but with the help of my wife, daughter, and teammates, I am here and playing well.”

27-year-old Eder Militao has been playing for Real Madrid since 2019 and has scored 13 goals in 1880 matches.
