Another round of the English Premier League got underway.

Chelsea defeated Everton 2–0 away from home.

The first half was very heated, with five yellow cards shown and plenty of chances created. Both James Garner and Morgan Rogers were hurt in one incident, but the referee decided against severely punishing the players.

Chelsea made a powerful start after half-time, with Pedro Neto scoring almost immediately.

Emiliano Martínez was substituted in the 75th minute after being knocked unconscious in an incident and carried off on a stretcher.

In stoppage time, Neto sealed the Blues’ victory with his second goal.
