Enzo Maresca, the head coach of London’s Chelsea club, commented on the future of Noni Madueke and West Ham player Mohammed Kudus after reaching the semifinals of the World Club Cup:

"M. Kudus is a player for the 'Hammers', so I can’t say anything… I can say that I have known him since his time at Amsterdam's Ajax.”

"N. Madueke was very important last season. But my message to the players and the club is that I want to have those players who are happy in this team. Those who do not feel happy can freely go elsewhere.

23-year-old Noni Madueke has played 91 matches for London’s Chelsea club over three seasons and scored 20 goals.
