E. Maresca: "N. Jackson may soon leave the club"

The head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Enzo Maresca, commented on the future of forward Nicolas Jackson, the potential exit of Carney Chukwuemeka, the search for a new defender, and current full-backs:

N. Jackson trains with us, but he will not be included in the squad. You know this situation very well.

The transfer window is open. He may leave, and we will see what happens.

C. Chukwuemeka trains with us and is awaiting a decision.

He will probably have the opportunity to leave the team.

W. Fofana played one half in a three-defender setup, and that was one of the worst halves for Chelsea.

On the left side, we have Jamie Gittens and Tyrique George, so we will probably need a player on the other side as well.
