"Manchester City" is gradually starting to prepare for the possible departure of Pep Guardiola after this season. Although the Spaniard still has a valid contract for the next season, the "Man City" management feels that the coach may leave the team as early as this summer.

On Thursday, "The Athletic" reported that the "City" management sees the current "Chelsea" coach Enzo Maresca as a real candidate to replace P. Guardiola.

However, on Friday, the "aristocrats'" coach denied such talks.

"Such rumors do not affect me, as they are absolutely untrue.

At the moment, there is no basis for such talks, as I have a contract until 2029. I have said many times that all my focus is solely on the "Chelsea" club, and I take pride in being here.

These are just speculations. A week ago, I was linked with "Juventus." Now it is important to understand why such speculations arise at all, but that is not my job," E. Maresca said at the press conference.
