Newcastle United head coach Edie Howe commented on his team player Alexander Isak's situation:

It is clear that at the moment we cannot include A. Isak with the whole team due to his injury.

The Swede is here, so he definitely has a future with the "Magpies" team. From our perspective, we would really like to have this striker with us, but the situation has to be right for that to happen.

The Liverpool club wants to acquire Alexander Isak and has made an offer.

25-year-old Alexander Isak has been playing for Newcastle United since 2022 and has scored 62 goals in 109 matches.

In the last season, the Swede scored 27 times in 42 matches.
