Manchester City defeated London’s Fulham 5:4 in the English Championship.

In this match, Erling Haaland became the fastest player to score 100 goals in Premier League history.

The Norwegian commented on his team’s performance and his personal achievement to the sports publication Sky Sports:

"We don’t have to think much about London’s Arsenal team.

We need to focus on ourselves, aim to improve, and avoid the things that happened today, as it was not a very good performance and we all know that.

We need to improve as a whole team; that should be the goal for the ‘Citizens’.”

"I am very proud and happy about reaching 100 goals. But when you are a striker at Man City, you have to deliver good numbers. That is my job.

People can criticize me if I don’t score goals. In the end, it’s normal for them to do so, because as I said, I need to perform well.”

Erling Haaland scored 100 goals in the English Championship in 111 matches.

Manchester City is in second place in the English Championship with 28 points.
