"Man City" team forward Erling Haaland displayed a great act.
It has been officially announced that the 25-year-old player purchased the most expensive book in Norway's history at an auction for 118 thousand euros.
However, the footballer will not keep the "Viking Sagas," published in 1594, and will donate it to his hometown's Time municipality.
"I was never a big fan of books, but I want people to have the opportunity to read about our fellow countrymen from our land," explained E. Haaland.
Haaland purchased a 432-year-old Viking king's epic from an auction he participated in.
