FK "Kauno Žalgirio" coach Eivinas Černiauskas was very pleased with the team's performance in the victorious match against Kyiv's "Dynamo." During the training camp in Turkey, the Lithuanian champions defeated the Ukrainian giant with a score of 1:0.

After the match, the team's strategist bowed his head to his players and did not spare compliments for their displayed game.

"It's nice to win, just like every match. We play to win. It's very nice to achieve victory against such an opponent, against such a name. All the glory and compliments go to the players who gave their all, putting in a lot of effort both in the fight and fulfilling our agreements. Very useful match and I am very happy that we managed to win. This will give us strength, more self-confidence, and allow us to grow," said the specialist who started his second season at the club.

According to E. Černiauskas, the team was a bit nervous at the beginning of the match, but later managed to get into the game.

"I would single out the first 10-15 minutes, where there was more excitement. The club's name, the players were really high-level, and it took time for us to get into the game. The total time in the match was over 100 minutes, so the players received a really big load, but even in the backdrop of fatigue, they managed to cope with the tasks set and tried to implement what we had agreed upon," contemplated the coach.

The next match for "Kauno Žalgirio" players in Turkey will be on February 3 against the Danish club "Esbjerg," and the last friendly match in Turkey is awaited on February 6 against the Moldovan club "Zimbru" from Chișinău.
