Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" club will soon have a new defender.

The Turkish team will be joined by London "West Ham United" player Edson Alvarez.

The Mexican will join "Fener" on loan, with an option to buy the defender.

27-year-old Edson Alvarez played 73 matches for London "West Ham United" over two seasons.

Prior to that, the Mexican played four seasons and scored 13 goals in 147 matches.
