The goal fiesta in the 22nd round of the "TOPsport A League" took place in Marijampolė, where after a hard-fought battle, Telšiai's "Džiugas" triumphed. The home team managed to hold onto their slight lead against Marijampolė's "Sūduva" and celebrated a victory away with a score of 3:2 (2:0).

The first goal came as early as the 11th minute when David Martinas Anane scored with a header into the near corner after a pass from Oleksandr Kurcev. At the end of the first half, the score doubled - Vilius Piliukaitis found O. Kurcev, who executed an impressive shot from outside the penalty area, the ball crashing into the net off the top of the goal frame.

In the second half, the Telšiai team did not stop - Aramas Baghdasaryanas attempted to score with an acrobatic move, but the ball bounced back to the player, who managed to send it into the net. In the 53rd minute, the Marijampolė team responded when Frankline Tangiri capitalized on a corner taken by a teammate.

The "Sūduva" players continued to show character, and in the 63rd minute a great run down the left flank by Žygimantas Baltrūnas found an unmarked F. Tangiri, whose shot into the empty net was marked by a double. Shortly after, Sidy Sanokho and Nauris Petkevičius caused danger, but Marius Paukštė defended his team on both occasions. Although "Sūduva" continued to create attacks one after another, they bore no fruit.

After the 22nd round of the "TOPsport A League," "Džiugas" holds the 5th position in the table with 31 points, while "Sūduva," having suffered its first home defeat this year, remains in second place with 38 points.
