"TOPsport" sponsored Lithuanian Football A League has started its 26th round, where Vilnius "Riteriai" faced Telšiai "Džiugas". The Telšiai team, scoring two goals, celebrated a confident victory with a score of 2:0 (1:0).

During the first attack of the Telšiai team, the home team's goalkeeper Antonio Tutai had to get involved in the action, but he saved Viliaus Piliukaičio's shot from the Croatian legionnaire.

The wave of "Džiugas" attacks continued, and in the 8th minute, after a pass from Ronaldo Sobowale, the ball was redirected into the own net by Armandas Šveistrys.

In the middle of the half, the Vilnius team organized a dangerous counterattack, but the goalkeeper Marius Paukštė caught the ball after Jonas Usavičius' attempt. A little later, Andrius Lipskis' charges responded with a very dangerous attack, however, forward R. Sobowale's struck ball hit the post.

In the second half, the Telšiai team defended confidently and had no major problems in defense. In the 80th minute, another quick attack by the Telšiai team turned into the second goal - R. Sobowale delivered an excellent pass, and the ball was directed into the empty net by Davidas Martinas Anane, solidifying the lead.

The victorious "Džiugas" team climbed a step up the tournament table and is in 5th place with 37 points. The mood in the "Riteriai" camp is significantly gloomier - the club has only 14 points and is in last place in the tournament table.
