In the European U21 Championship – dramatic matches.

France defeated the Denmark national team 3:2.

The victory of the young "Les Blues" players was determined by two goals in 2 minutes. In the 84th minute, Quentin Merlin scored, and a minute later, "Tottenham" forward Quentin Merlin also found the net. Thus, the French came back from a 1:2 deficit.

Meanwhile, Italy lost to the Germany national team 2:3 after extra time.

Luca Koleosho put the Italians ahead at the beginning of the second half. In the 68th minute, Nick Woltemade equalized the score, and soon after, the Italians were reduced to ten men – Wilfried Gnonto received a second yellow card.

In the 87th minute, Nelson Weiper scored a second goal for the Germans, and it seemed like the end. Moreover, due to disputes, Italian defender Marco Zanotti received a red card, leaving the "Azzurri" with nine players.

However, Giuseppe Ambrosino unexpectedly equalized in the 96th minute.

Finally, the Italians fell after Merlino Rohl's strike in the 117th minute.
