The Amsterdam "Ajax" club has announced sad news.

Due to a severe road injury, the full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has ended his season.

The Ukrainian was injured in the third minute against the team "Fortuna Sittard," which they won with a score of 4:1.

O. Zinchenko will undergo a rehabilitation period and will not be able to play.

He will also miss additional World Cup qualifying matches.

The 29-year-old Oleksandr Zinchenko moved to "Ajax" in the last week of January.

At the beginning of this season, he spent time on loan at "Nottingham Forest" and played 10 matches.
