Deco: 'N. Williams wants to join the Barcelona club'

"Barcelona" club sports director Deco confirmed to the sports publication "La Vanguardia" that Bilbao "Athletic" team's winger Nico Williams wants to move to the Catalan side:

"Yes, N. Williams wants to come to the "Barca" club... We will try to reach an agreement with the Basque team for the acquisition of this player.

Nico, like other players, shows a great desire to come to this team... If the right circumstances occur and we manage to reach an agreement, of course, we will try to finalize this deal and acquire the Spaniard."

22-year-old Nico Williams has played for Bilbao "Athletic" since 2021 and has scored 31 goals in 167 matches.

Last summer, he became a European champion with the Spanish national team.
