The 33rd round of the "TOPsport" supported A league continued in Alytus, where the local DFK "Dainava" faced off against Kauno rajono "Hegelmann." The Dainava team, suffering a defeat by a score of 0:2 (0:1), lost even their theoretical chances of climbing out of the bottom of the league table.

At the beginning of the match, both teams exchanged shots – among the home team, Artiomas Baftalovskis tried his luck, while in the blue-and-white team, after attempts by Patrick Popescu and Donatas Kazlauskas, it was Volodymyr Krynski who had to intervene.

The first goal did not take long to arrive. Already in the 19th minute, Carlos Duke struck not only strongly but also accurately from a distance.

After more than half an hour of play, A. Baftalovskis had a good opportunity to restore balance, but the ball he shot grazed just past the crossbar.

Once again after the break, Koen Oostenbrink found himself in an excellent shooting position, but his attempt was deflected by Dainava's Vincentas Šarkauskas.

In the 55th minute, Mergeno Orazov's players made a significant mistake in their half of the pitch, and taking advantage of the gift, Donatas Kazlauskas doubled the team's advantage.

The "Hegelmann" team, securing victory, remains in 2nd place with 64 points, while "Dainava" will not climb out of the last place.
