On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed a delegation from Saudi Arabia at the White House, which included "Al Nassr" forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
"My son is a big fan of the Portuguese.
Baron had the opportunity to meet him and now, I think he will respect his dad a little more," Trump said.
C. Ronaldo had not visited the U.S. in over a decade due to allegations against the forward of sexual assault.
The U.S. media notes that earlier this year, Argentine Lionel Messi also received an invitation to the White House, but he chose not to meet with then-President Joe Biden.
