"Liverpool" is further complicating its situation in the fight for a place in next season's UEFA Champions League.

On Sunday, the English champions drew 1:1 at home against the "Tottenham" team, which is fighting to stay in the league.

After the match, "Liverpool" player Dominik Szoboszlai stated that it is time for his team to wake up, otherwise they will have to settle for playing in the Conference League.

"We need to wake up because if we keep playing like this, we'll have to settle for playing in the Conference League. I don't understand why this is happening," D. Szoboszlai said.

After the meeting, "Liverpool" fans booed their team, and the Hungarian said he understands such fan anger.

"Personally, I didn't hear the booing, but I can understand the fans. We're not playing the way we should."

"However, I would like the fans to show support even in tough times. We still have time to show that we are ready to fight for this club," added the "Liverpool" player.
