The main goalkeeper of Arsenal, David Raya, had attention from other major European clubs before his transfer to the Gunners in 2024.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the 30-year-old Spanish player revealed that he could have joined Bayern Munich.

"I was very, very close to joining another club.

Fortunately, the transfer elsewhere didn't happen, and eventually Arsenal made a serious offer, and I came here. That other club was Bayern," said D. Raya.
