In the World Cup qualifiers, drama with penalties took place not only in Bosnia but also in the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic overcame Denmark in an 11-meter penalty shootout and qualified for the World Championship. The regular time ended with a score of 1:1, and during extra time, both teams scored one more goal.
Pavel Šulc took the lead for the Czechs in the third minute.
In the 72nd minute, Joachim Andersen extended extra time.
Exactly in the 100th minute, Ladislav Krejčí again led the Czech Republic ahead.
However, this season's Champions League discovery, Kasper Højlund, equalized with a goal in the 111th minute, forcing a penalty shootout.
