The Haitian national football team pleasantly surprised its fans.

The Caribbean nation has qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1974.

Interestingly, the team's head coach, Sebastien Migne, has never visited Haiti.

"It's impossible because it would be too dangerous due to high crime rates. Usually, I live in the countries where I work, but not in this case. There are no longer any international flights here," explained the 52-year-old specialist, who has been coaching the team for 18 months.

S. Migne leads the team remotely – he receives all information via phone or messages sent by the Haitian federation.
