The first stage of the King's Cup ("Copa del Rey") in Spain has ended.

"Espanyol" barely defeated the amateur team Leidos "Atletic" in an away match – 2:1.

The victory for the Barcelona team was secured by Kike Garcia's double, with the winning goal scored in the 46th minute.

The hosts scored in the 6th minute with a goal from Aldo One Esteve. This was an equalizer, but they failed to hold on afterwards.

In this stage, only one "La Liga" club – "Real Oviedo" – has left the tournament. Other clubs managed comfortably, with many trouncing their opponents.

In the next stage, "Barca" will not yet play against "Real".
