Conclusion of Žalgiris' twists: M. Kasperūnas elected as director, V. Venslovaitienė's stake - arrested by the prosecution

Vilnius "Žalgiris" has resolved one important issue.

According to tv3.lt journalist Mantas Krasnickas, the new long-term director of the "Žalgiris" club is Mindaugas Kasperūnas, who previously held this position only temporarily.

In the meeting, there were 13 people, of whom 8 voted for M. Kasperūnas' candidacy, while the other 5 abstained.

It is also added that the share of the former "Žalgiris" leader Vilma Venslovaitienė, which she possibly took over illegally from Eleonora Kasperūnienė, has been seized by the prosecutor's office.

Shortly, "Žalgiris" is expected to officially announce the new leader.
