On Thursday in Monaco, at 19:00, the draw for the new season of the UEFA Champions League will take place.

The strongest tournament in the Old Continent will again be held in the format that sparked discussions last year.

Thirty-six teams will participate in the league stage, and each team will be assigned eight opponents in the draw – four matches will be played at home and four away.

At the end of the regular season, the top 8 teams will be determined, which will advance to the knockout stage.

Meanwhile, teams that finish in 9th to 24th place will compete in the playoffs for the remaining 8 spots.
